The unique circumstances provided by FIRST allow students to surmount tremendous challenges and showcase their effort on an international scale. Through their participation in FIRST Robotics Competition, students learn how to work in a team environment and collaborate in a competitive setting in order to build a robot in a short span of 6 weeks. Team 7157 branches off into several sub teams including build, programming, electrical, and more. Members learn to collaborate in and out of their fields, with the efforts of every subteam funneling into one finely engineered robot that goes on to compete on a world level.<\/span><\/span> From picking up trash on littered beaches to creating a S<\/span>TEM-oriented fascination within k-12 students through hands-on activities, members of team 7157 are exposed to a vibrant array of community outreach. <\/span><\/span> Being part of team 7157 means to understand the imperative values that make a dream team. Starting from a young age, these members obtain foundational values of professionalism, leniency, and a strong sense of camaraderie. <\/span><\/span> Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n Our Origins<\/p>\n\n\n Team 7157 began as a rookie FRC team operating out of Brea Olinda High School with little to no resources, leading to a robot built in a mentor\u2019s garage equipped with only a drill press, and a table saw.<\/span><\/p> <\/p> In spite of these setbacks, \u03bcBotics functioned as distinguished OC Regional semi-finalist, recipient of the \u201cRookie All-Star Award,\u201d and competitor at the 2018 World Championships within their first year.<\/p> Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Today<\/p>\n\n Over the past few years, we have been met with much success winning AVR and becoming the Johnson Division 2023 semi-finalists along with winning Beach Blitz and OCR and becoming Daly Division finalists in 2024. We are currently preparing for the 2026 season, recruiting new members and equipping them for the new season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Team 7157 has been very successful over the past few years and hopes to maintain that. In the 2026 season, we are hoping to win multiple district competitions and advance to worlds. We are eagerly awaiting our chance to advance to Einstein’s and compete with the top teams. With the extraordinary display of our efforts and success last year, we have achieved a lot this past season.
